XVI Sofia Science Festival

Members of the CA24138 – EU-Resolution Biology Network (EU-RESOLVE) – Dr. Petya Dimitrova from Stephan Angeloff Institute of Microbiology – Sofia, Dr. Eoin Brennan and Dr. Monica de Gaetano from University College Dublin, Ireland will participate at the XVI Sofia Science Festival, Bulgaria on the 14-17th of May 2026.

The Sofia Science Festival celebrates science and technology and is a major forum bridging Bulgarian and international researchers with general public. The event is organized by the Beautiful Science Foundation, established by the British Council and Forum Democrit in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science. In their brief presentations, the researchers from the EU-RESOLVE network will draw the public’s attention to the role of the resolution of the inflammation in diabetes and renal and cardiovascular complications in diabetes.

The following Q&A session will facilitate the general public understanding of the novel concept of the Resolution of Biology.
