Description of the project

Advancing the Resolution of Inflammation

The COST Action EU-RESOLVE CA24138 aims to advance our understanding of the biological processes that regulate the resolution of inflammation and accelerate the translation of these findings into more effective treatments for patients suffering from acute and chronic diseases.

Working Groups

Working Together to Advance Resolution Biology

WG1

Harmonization of definitions and creation of a joint research agenda

To establish community-accepted definitions and a common research agenda based on priorities identified by the community to deepen our understanding of mechanisms in Resolution Biology.

WG2

Development of Standard Operating procedures (SOP)

To establish standardised protocols and methodologies for the study of Resolution Biology.

WG3

Defining mechanisms that regulate the resolution of inflammation

Synergy between multidisciplinary and multisectoral efforts in the study of mechanisms in Resolution Biology to enable ground-breaking discoveries.

WG4

Identify novel Resolution Biology-based targets

To leverage multidisciplinary and multisectoral expertise to develop and test novel Resolution Biology-based targets for the treatment of chronic inflammatory conditions.

WG5

Establishing a curated knowledge hub

To establish an open access, up-to-date online resource that brings together the existing knowledge about Resolution Biology and provide a platform for the dissemination of guidelines and research emanating from this action.

WG6

Science communication, dissemination and exploitation

To implement activities to ensure knowledge sharing between partners, to organise the training activities together with WG1-4, defining and implementing the dissemination and exploitation plan.
